Austrian Philharmonic gold coins are bullion coins produced by the Austrian Mint, a renowned producer of coinage and currency. The coins were first issued in 1989 and have been issued in 1-ounce, 1/2-ounce, 1/4-ounce, 1/10-ounce, and 1/25-ounce sizes. Each coin is made from 0.9999% (99.99%) pure gold, which is 24 karats fine.

The coins feature imagery that celebrates Austria’s rich musical heritage. The obverse of the coin depicts the Great Organ of the Golden Hall in Vienna’s Musikverein concert hall, while the reverse features an array of musical instruments that are played by members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Austrian Philharmonic gold coins make great gifts for music lovers or anyone looking to invest in physical gold bullion.
