Inscribed “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “2022” and the artist’s “AW” monogram. This patriotic design by renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman was initially created for the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar.
Reverse: An eagle is depicted on the reverse, preparing to land while clutching an oak branch. The eagle is surrounded by the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “ONE DOLLAR” and the “S” Mint mark. The design is credited to acclaimed U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist Emily Damstra.

For the remarkable amount of contrast between its frosted and mirrored surfaces, the coin also received the Deep Cameo (DCAM) designation.
