Each one is made of .9999 fine silver and has a proof finish. Their weights are 1/2 oz., 1 oz., and 2 oz.
Impressive Year of the Pig Design
The obverse of each coin in this set displays the work of Ian Rank-Broadley. This portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is highly detailed and has been featured on many coins. This side of each coin is inscribed with the date, face value, and silver content.
The reverse is inscribed with “YEAR OF THE PIG.” The Chinese character for pig can also be found here. The central portion of the design shows a lifelike adult pig with 4 piglets.
GEM Proof Condition
The coins in this set have not been submitted to a third-party service for grading or encapsulation. They’re in GEM Proof condition, which is the same condition they were in when they left the Perth Mint.
