Since this coin has a brilliant uncirculated finish, it does not have a mintmark. The reverse features a bald eagle design by John Mercanti. The eagle at the center has highly detailed feathers, it’s holding a banner with its beak and has a shield over its chest.

The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation was chosen to grade this Silver Eagle. It has a brown label to display its grade and other basic information. From their 70 point grading scale, it was awarded the grade of Mint State 69 indicating that this specimen is nearly perfect.
