Description
Why Make This MS70 2018 Silver Eagle with a Brown Label the Next Addition to Your Collection?
The American Silver Eagle is one of the world’s most preferred bullion coins. This series has been issued by the U.S. Mint since 1986. Each one weighs 1 Troy oz. and is made of .999 fine silver. This Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Eagle was issued for 2018.
Highly Detailed Liberty and Bald Eagle Designs
While the Silver Eagle was introduced in 1986, the design on the obverse actually made its first appearance on a U.S. coin in 1916. This is Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty. The date can be found on this side.
The reverse shows a finely detailed heraldic bald eagle. It is pictured holding an olive branch and a bundle of arrows with its talons. The upper portion of the design displays 13 stars.
NGC MS70 with a Brown Label
This specimen has a brown label to display its grade from the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). The experts there use a grading scale with a maximum of 70. This Silver Eagle was assigned a perfect Mint State 70 grade (MS70). That means even when it was examined with magnification no flaws were found.
