Gorgeous Walking Liberty Design
Lady Liberty strides towards the sunrise on the obverse, with an American flag elegantly draped around her, with the word “LIBERTY” sweeping overhead. Additional inscriptions include “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “2007.”
The reverse, designed by John Mercanti, features a bald eagle behind a vertically striped shield; an olive branch in its right talon and arrows in its left, an image inspired by the Great Seal of the United States.
