This 1993-S United States Clad Proof Set consists of proof versions of all five coins that the United States issued for circulation in that year. They include the Kennedy half dollar, the Washington quarter, the Roosevelt dime, the Jefferson nickel, and the Lincoln penny. The designs are all well known to those who engage in daily commerce, but the proof finish brings out their finer details. All of these coins have the “S” mint mark, which indicates that they were produced in San Francisco. The coins are all set in a purple holder that works beautifully as a display piece. Please note that, while the coins are uncirculated, most sets have been previously owned, and many of the coins may suffer the ill effects that are normal with time, such as haze, discoloration, and toning.
