The architectural landmark is encircled by a border inscribed with the “2024” issue date and Mandarin characters representing “People’s Republic of China.”
Reverse: On the reverse, a panda cub is portrayed seated beside its mother near a flourishing low-hanging tree branch. The heartwarming family portrait was created by 2021 Coin of the Year (COTY) award recipient Huang Qin, the Chinese artist responsible for the sledding panda design struck upon the 2022 releases of the Panda life story mini-series. The coin’s face value of “100 Yuan” and “8 g Au .999” are inscribed.
