Breathtaking Beauty of the Silver Eagle
Obverse: Lady Liberty is portrayed on the obverse walking towards the rising sun, while draped in the folds of the American flag. Inscribed “LIBERTY,” “2023,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the artist’s monogram “AW.” The timeless image initially appeared on the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar designed by acclaimed sculptor Adolph A. Weinman.
Reverse: An eagle is depicted gripping an oak branch on the reverse, with its wings in a lifted position to slow its descent. Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” the “W” Mint mark and “ONE DOLLAR.” The Type-2 eagle landing image is credited to award-winning illustrator and U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist Emily Damstra.

This 2023-W Burnished American Silver Eagle coin was judged to be in exquisite Mint State 70 condition by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC). Expect the coin to feature a perfectly executed strike, pristine surfaces and spectacular eye appeal.
