Iconic Smiley Design
Obverse: This side of the coin features the Smiley design. Smiley has been colorized to its traditional yellow color. Smiley’s eyes and mouth have been left silver and easily stand out against its bright yellow face. This side is inscribed with the words “ANS DE SOURIRES.” The date can be found near the upper left portion of the design.
Reverse: The face value is inscribed on the reverse. The country of issue is stated here as well. An oak branch and an olive branch are depicted with the inscriptions. Two large hexagons have been incorporated into the design on this side also.

This specimen is packaged in a card. This legal tender coin has a colorized proof finish, and just like when it left the Mint it’s in GEM Proof condition.
