The MintFresh process preserves the pristine condition of coins by sealing them within tubes sourced directly from mint-issued Monster Boxes. These tubes are meticulously handled and sealed with a tamper-evident MintFresh sticker and protective shrink-wrap, ensuring they remain untouched and securely stored in NGC’s vaults or an NGC-approved depository.
The MintFresh Process: Preserving Mint State Quality
Upon arrival at NGC or an NGC-approved depository, each Monster Box undergoes careful inspection before the tubes are extracted. Following a thorough review, each tube is sealed with a unique, tamper-evident NGC MintFresh sticker and protective shrink-wrap, guaranteeing the coins within remain in their original mint condition.

The tamper-evident MintFresh sticker provides essential information about the product, including the coin’s name, date, and weight. Submitting MintFresh Tubes for Grading:
MintFresh sealed tubes can be submitted to NGC for grading and maintain their label designation, provided both the tamper-evident MintFresh sticker and the original roll seal remain intact.

The American Silver Eagle: A Popular Bullion Coin
The American Silver Eagle is one of the world’s most popular silver bullion coins. Authorized by the Liberty Coin Act of 1985, these coins are made from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and first went into production in 1986.
The U.S. Mint introduced a redesign in 2021. The obverse (heads side) design is based on Adolph A. Weinman’s “Walking Liberty” half dollar from 1916. Modern technology allowed for a more accurate reflection of Weinman’s original design, including the addition of his artist’s mark. The reverse (tails side) originally featured the American heraldic eagle designed by John Mercanti, the former Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint. This design showed a bald eagle behind a shield, clutching arrows and an olive branch. The new “Eagle Landing” design depicts an eagle carrying an oak branch towards a nest. This design was created by Emily Damstra, one of the artists participating in the U.S. Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program.
Ungraded bullion products are precious metals that have not been assigned a grade by a third-party grading service. These raw products are carefully crafted to preserve the natural beauty of the metal. Slight surface imperfections, spots, scratches, or dents may be present on these products. These minor imperfections can occur during the production process and do not affect the inherent value of the metal.
