Adorable Mother and Baby Panda Design
Obverse: Gracing the obverse is the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, which is located in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. Stairs lead up to a platform, at the center of which is the circular structure. The building is encircled by a rim frame that bears inscriptions of the issuing country’s name in Chinese and the date “2024.”
Reverse: A mother panda cuddles her cub on the reverse. They sit on the ground under a flowery tree. Inscriptions on this face include the coin’s face value and its weight and purity, “30 G AG .999.” This one-year-only reverse design was created by award-winning Chinese coin artist Ms. Huang Qin, who was responsible for the 2022 Panda reverse design as well.
