Unique Second Amendment Design
Obverse: The theme of this medal is the Second Amendment and that is very obvious in both designs. The obverse shows a modern patriot holding an AR-15. A group of protestors are depicted in this design as well. The inscription “The Second Amendment Protects The First Amendment” arches along the top and bottom of the obverse.
Reverse: The design on the reverse has a bit of a “now and then” theme tacked on to the Second Amendment. This design is similar to a Jolly Roger, it has a skull but rather than swords or crossbones it has an AR-15 and a musket. The dates “1791” and “2022,” as well as the metal content and purity appear on this face, alongside the phrase “The Right To Bear Arms Shall Not Be Infringed.”
