Featuring the same iconic reverse and obverse design as bullion and proof Silver Eagles, Burnished examples have an almost satiny, matte-like finish. Issued every year since then, except for 2009 and 2010, burnished varieties often feature lower mintages than their bullion and Proof American Eagle counterparts.
