Bone Chilling Blackbeard Flag Design
Obverse: The coin’s obverse bears the seal of Niue. “PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE” is inscribed near the top of the seal, while the motto “ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI” (God, Niue Eternally) is inscribed on a ribbon at the bottom of it. Additional inscriptions on this face note the coin’s face value, “2 DOLLARS,” the name of the issuing country, “NIUE,” and the date, “2023.”
Reverse: On the reverse, a skeleton stabs a heart with a spear while toasting the Devil with a glass in the other. This emblem was on his flag and harked back to his deal with the Devil. Inscriptions on this face read, “BLACKBEARD,” “JOLLY ROGER,” and “1 OZ 9999 FINE SILVER.”
