Finely Detailed Monarchs
Obverse: The face value can be found on this side of the coin with the legend. The central portion of the design shows Martin Jennings’ portrait of King Charles III. These are among the first British coins to depict the new monarch.
Reverse: This side displays the date and an intriguing memorial design for Her Late Majesty. The design was originally used for the 1953 coronation crown, it’s the work of Edgar Fuller and Cecil Thomas.
