Spherical Uranus Design
Obverse: While this coin is spherical, the obverse is where the Barbados coat of arms is displayed. The center of this crest shows a shield with a fig tree on it. To the right of the shield, a pelican is depicted. On the left, the shield is held up by a dolphinfish. The date, face value, and silver content are also on this side of the coin.
Reverse: The reverse shows the surface of Uranus. The bluish color of the planet has been added thanks to a shiny blue lacquer printing and the texture of the planet’s surface is visible as well.
