A wide frame surrounding the portrait contains the additional inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “AUSTRALIA,” “2023,” “1 OZ 9999 AG” and “1 DOLLAR.” This rendition of the late monarch was designed by acclaimed British sculptor Jody Clark in 2015.
Reverse: A delightful wilderness scene adorns the reverse, featuring a pair of quokkas paused beside a reflective pond. Scattered clusters of colorized Rottnest Island daisies are depicted near the furry brown-coated creatures. Inscribed “QUOKKA” and the Perth Mint mark “P.”
