Exquisite Kangaroo Design
Obverse: The coin’s obverse features the Queen Elizabeth II memorial design. The portrait, which was designed by Jody Clark, shows the late monarch wearing earrings, a necklace, and her Royal Diamond Diadem. The design is encircled by a rim frame that bears inscriptions of her name, “ELIZABETH II,” the dates of her reign, “1952-2022,” the name of the issuing country, “AUSTRALIA,” and the coin’s face value, “1 DOLLAR.” Jody Clark is a renowned coin designer.
