Obverse: The picturesque primary façade of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, located in the Temple of Heaven complex in Beijing, is featured on the obverse. Inscriptions include “2023” and Chinese characters that translate as “People’s Republic of China.”
Reverse: On the reverse, a young panda duo is depicted joyfully climbing amongst the dense foliage of a tree. The beautifully crafted design by renowned Chinese artist Tong Fang includes the inscriptions “3 g Pt .999” and the coin’s “100 Yuan” denomination. Ms. Tong is additionally credited with the 2019 and 2021 Panda designs and is also scheduled to create the imagery for the 2027 release.
