Classic Liberty and Bald Eagle Designs
Obverse: This side of the coin displays a classic design that was originally created by Adolph A. Weinman for the half dollar in the early 1900s. It is known as Walking Liberty and it is still a favorite today.
Reverse: The design on the reverse is the work of John Mercanti. The reverse shows a heraldic bald eagle and 13 stars. The silver weight and face value are also displayed on this side.
NGC MS70 with a Brown Label
This burnished Silver Eagle has a brown label to display its grade from the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) where it was awarded a perfect Mint State 70 grade. That grade means this specimen is flawless, even under magnification.
