Picturesque Silver Eagle Imagery
Obverse: Lady Liberty is illustrated draped in an American flag on the obverse, carrying branches of oak and laurel while strolling towards the rising sun. Inscribed “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “2013.” This personification of Liberty first appeared on the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar, designed by renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman.
Reverse: An eagle clutching an olive branch and a bundle of arrows is depicted on the reverse. Inscribed “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” “ONE DOLLAR,” the West Point Mint mark “W” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” This iconic, heraldic eagle design was created by the U.S. Mint’s 12th Chief Engraver, John Mercanti. The image is the identifying element of the Type-1 style Silver Eagle issued from 1986 until mid-2021.

The silver dollar is encased in a sonically sealed NGC protective holder with a commemorative West Point Silver Star style certification label.
