Magnificently Rendered Silver Eagle Imagery
Obverse: The concept of liberty is personified as a young woman on the obverse. Lady Liberty is portrayed carrying a cluster of oak and laurel branches that symbolize strength, honor, and victory while elegantly draped in an American flag and walking toward the rising sun. Inscribed “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST,” with the date of issue “2023.” The “AW” monogram of acclaimed early 20th-century sculptor Adolph A. Weinman is located beneath the motto. Mr. Weinman’s iconic “Walking Liberty” image initially appeared on the circulating half-dollar coin of the U.S. in 1916.
Reverse: An eagle is depicted in flight on the reverse as it prepares to land with an oak branch in its grip. Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “ONE DOLLAR.” The West Point Mint’s distinctive “W” Mint mark is present only on the proof and burnished varieties. The stunning Type-2 eagle landing image is an example of the nature-themed designs of U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist Emily Damstra.
Perfectly Graded Three-Piece Silver Dollar Set
Each coin in this 2023 American Silver Eagle 3-piece set was received by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) for review within thirty days its release date, qualifying for the desirable First Strike attribution. Awarded the grades of Mint State 70 (bullion), Proof 70, and Specimen 70 (burnished), expect each coin to be flawlessly struck, with pristine surfaces and fabulous eye appeal.
