Sensational American Silver Eagle Imagery
Obverse: The obverse features the patriotic image of Lady Liberty walking with an American flag draped around her form, which first appeared on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar in 1916. Inscriptions include “LIBERTY,” “2022” and “IN GOD WE TRUST,” along with the artist’s “AW” monogram, which credits acclaimed early 20th century medallic and architectural sculptor Adolph A. Weinman for the timeless design.
Reverse: The reverse depicts an eagle with its wings raised in a landing pose, with a branch of oak gripped in its talons. Inscribed “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER” and “ONE DOLLAR.” This Type-2 eagle landing graphic is the work of Emily Damstra, a member of the U.S. Mint’s Artistic Infusion Program since 2014.
Pristine Mint State 70 Set
Each coin in this 2022 American Silver Eagle 3-piece set was submitted to the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) for review within thirty days of its release date. The coins were individually examined, each judged to be in flawless Mint State 70 condition. The silver dollars are presented as a complete patriotic set, sonically sealed in three separate NGC protective holders, with a red, a silver-white and a blue foil core. Each perfectly struck 1 oz. silver bullion coin is accompanied by a NGC certification label confirming its First Releases status.
