Touching Mother and Baby Panda Design
Obverse: Gracing the obverse, as is tradition, the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests. The tiered circular structure is located in Beijing’s Temple of Heaven. Encircling the building is a rim frame in which the name of the issuing country is inscribed in Chinese at the top, and the date is inscribed at the bottom.
Reverse: On the reverse, a mother panda cuddles her baby while looking at it lovingly. The weight and purity of the coin, “3 G .999 AU,” are inscribed along the rim in the upper left. The coin’s face value is provided near the bottom. The reverse design was created by award-winning Chinese coin artist Ms. Huang Qin who also made the 2022 China Panda reverse design

This coin earned a Mint State 70 (MS70) grade from the experts at Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC). To receive that grade, a coin must appear flawless under 5x magnification. This coin was also certified First Releases (FR), which means that it was submitted for grading within 30 days of its initial release from the mint.
