Exquisite Silver Eagle Design
Obverse: Lady Liberty strolls toward the rising sun on the obverse. She is draped in an American flag, while cradling a bundle of oak and laurel branches. Inscribed “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “2023.” The design also incorporates the “AW” monogram of renowned early 20th-century sculptor Adolph A. Weinman. The time-honored patriotic image originally appeared on the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar.
Reverse: On the reverse, an eagle lifts its wings in preparation for landing with an oak branch intended for its nest in its grasp. Inscribed “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “ONE DOLLAR” and the “W” Mint mark. U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist Emily Damstra created the breathtaking wildlife image.

This Burnished variety 2023-W American Silver Eagle coin was submitted to the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) for review within thirty days following its release date.
