Why add this 2023(P) Morgan Silver Dollar NGC MS70 First Releases w/Exclusive Morgan Label to your collection?
In 2021, the U.S. Mint treated collectors to 100th-anniversary modern issues of the last Morgan Dollar and the first Peace Dollar. The original Morgan Silver Dollars are among the most collected historic American coins, and fans of the series are sure to love this release just as they did the 100th-anniversary issue in 2021.

Featuring the Groundbreaking Liberty Design of George T. Morgan
Obverse: Both faces of the coin bear designs by George T. Morgan. The obverse design was historic because of Morgan’s choice of an American-style model for Liberty rather than a Greek-style one, as was tradition. The allegorical figure dons a Phrygian cap and a ribbon on which her name is inscribed while facing left on the obverse. The image is encircled by thirteen stars and two inscriptions, “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “2023.”
Reverse: On the reverse, an open wreath partially encircles an eagle that holds arrows and an olive branch. Above the eagle’s head is an inscription of the national motto, “IN GOD WE TRUST.” All of this is encircled by rim inscriptions that note the name of the issuing country, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and the face value of the coin, “ONE DOLLAR.” George T. Morgan was the seventh man to serve as the Chief Engraver of the US Mint.
Impeccable MS70 FR with Exclusive Morgan Label
This coin earned Numismatic Guaranty Company’s (NGC’s) highest grade, Mint State 70 (MS 70), and First Releases (FR) certification. The MS70 grade means that the coin appears perfect even under 5x magnification, while the FR designation indicates that it was submitted for grading no more than 30 days after its initial release from the mint. This information comes on an exclusive label that bears an image of a Morgan dollar.
