Fascinating Jerusalem City of Peace Collage Design
Obverse: The obverse features an array of icons associated with the city of Jerusalem, including landmark government and religious buildings, classic memorials and native foliage of the region. The stylized design elements are attractively positioned within an arched shape, as if framed by one of the typical window openings that are traditional to the architectural style of the city. “JERUSALEM” is inscribed in English at the center of the collage in scripted lettering, adjacent to Hebrew characters which translate as the city name above.
Reverse: The distinctive logo of the Mint is depicted on the reverse, a graphic which is centered upon the inscription “THE HOLY LAND MINT.” Additional inscriptions include “CITY OF PEACE” sweeping above, with “ONE TROY OUNCE” and “999 FINE SILVER” curving below. The date of issue “2023” appears below the Mint’s emblem.
