Stunning Beech Leaf Design
Obverse: A beech leaf and its flower feature on the obverse. The fruit was once used to induce hallucinations. Along the rim are inscriptions of the name of the coin, “BEECH LEAF,” and its weight and purity, “1 OZ 999.9 FINE SILVER.”
Reverse: On the reverse is a two-headed eagle, which represents the past and future. The bird holds lightning bolts, which represent the power of creation and destruction, in its talons. Encircling the image is a rim frame that bears the inscriptions “GERMANIA,” “2023,” and the ornamental denomination “5 MARK.”
