Impressive 2023 Panda Design
Obverse: If you’re looking for the date, it can be found on the obverse near the lower edge of the design. The central portion shows a beautiful structure, the Temple of Heaven in Beijing.
Reverse: Like previous coins, the panda design is on the reverse. The 2023 design shows a pair of young pandas as they play together on a leafy tree and is the fifth installment in the China Mint’s “series within a series,” that began in 2019. The “series within a series” will run from 2019 through 2028 showing the lifecycle of the giant panda growing from a cub into adulthood! The inscriptions on this side state the face value and silver content.
PCGS MS70 First Strike with a Flag Label
Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) certified this 30 g Silver Panda. Since it was found to be completely free of flaws and was awarded a perfect Mint State 70 grade, meanwhile the First Strike designation is only for coins submitted during their first 30 days of issue. The label displaying its grade has a picture of the Chinese flag.
