Obverse: The date is displayed on the obverse, it’s near the lower edge of the coin. This side features Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty. Weinman’s initials, “AW,” also appear on this face of the coin. It is still one of the most widely admired Liberty designs to ever be used on a U.S. coin.
Reverse: The Eagle Landing design on this side debuted in 2021 when it replaced the original Heraldic Eagle design. This bald eagle design is the work of Emily Damstra. There are plenty of fine details to observe as the eagle descends.
