Walking Liberty and Eagle Landing
Obverse: This side of the coin shows the Walking Liberty design. This design was originally created by Adolph A. Weinman in the early 1900s, but was modified in 2021 to be closer to Weinman’s original. Weinman’s artist initials, “AW,” also appear on this face.
Reverse: The face value and silver weight are inscribed on this side. Emily Damstra created the new reverse design. The design shows an eagle preparing to land from its flight as it carries an oak branch with its talons.
