2022 American Innovation Vermont
Obverse: The date and mint mark are not on either side of the coin, instead, they’re actually on the edge. The design on the obverse is by Justin Kunz, it shows the Statue of Liberty and there are plenty of fine details to take in. The American Innovation features a different privy mark each year and 2022 is no exception. The 2022 privy mark is a stylized gear which appears on the obverse of this coin.
Reverse: The innovation highlighted in this design for Vermont is snowboarding. Vermont played a major role into developing snowboarding into the sport that it is today. This design shows a snowboarder doing a trick called a melon grab.
