Obverse: An elegant, right facing rendition of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II adorns the obverse, encircled by a textured frame bearing the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “AUSTRALIA” and “1 DOLLAR.” The monarch’s portrait is the work of award-winning artist Jody Clark, a famed British sculptor.
Reverse: The reverse features the classic bounding figure of a red kangaroo, surrounded by a radial pattern which is emblematic of the sun’s rays. The textured image border contains the inscriptions “AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO,” “2022 1 OZ 9999 SILVER” and the Perth Mint mark “P.”
