Charming Moon Panda Design
Obverse: An armillary sphere, an ancient three dimensional device used to chart the position of celestial bodies, is depicted on the obverse, above a portion of China’s landmark Great Wall. Inscriptions include “2022” and the Mint mark “Z.”
Reverse: The reverse features the image of a panda enhanced with blackened metal, beside a full moon. The celebratory privy mark appears at the lower right, which is comprised of a stylized panda and the number “8,” within a yin yang symbol. Inscribed “Full moon and full blossom are perfect bliss on Moon Festival” (Mandarin Chinese characters), “MOON FESTIVAL” and “88G AG .999.”
