Striking Eagle Landing Design by Emily Damstra

Obverse: The coin’s obverse bears Adolph Weinman’s Walking Liberty Design, which first appeared on the half dollar. Draped in the American flag, Liberty carries laurel and oak branches in the early morning sun. The image is joined by the inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2021.” Adolph Weinman is among the best respected numismatic designers in American history. While he made many contributions to American coins and medals, he is best known for designing the Mercury Dime and the Walking Liberty Half Dollar.

Reverse: An eagle spreads its wings while carrying an oak branch as it prepares to land in Emily Damstra’s reverse design. The motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” is included inside the rim inscriptions. Inscriptions on the rim provide the name of the issuing country, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” the coin’s face value, “ONE DOLLAR,” and its weight, “1 OZ. FINE SILVER.”

Virtually Flawless PR69 DCAM FS with Flag Label

Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) provided the grading information for this coin on a label that features the American flag. PCGS graded the coin Proof 69, thus indicating that it appears perfect to the naked eye. The grading company also certified the coin Deep Cameo (DCAM) and First Strikes (FS). The FS designation notes that it was submitted for grading within 30 days of its initial release from the mint, while the DCAM certification credits it for having deeply mirrored fields.
