Spectacular Bison Design
Obverse: The obverse features a stylized representation of a bison’s fur and horns. At the center, the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “SOLOMON ISLANDS,” “2 DOLLARS” and “1 OZ AG 999.9” encircle the right facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. “2021” and the coin’s individualized serial number are inscribed near the bison’s horns above.
Reverse: The bison design is repeated on the reverse, revealing the full face of the creature with its gentle gaze aimed forward. The bison’s fur is rendered in a brown striped pattern, which is embellished with additional geometric textures in stunning shades of bright orange, deep red, royal blue and majestic purple.
