Obverse: An effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is centered in an oval frame on the obverse, beneath the Imperial State Crown. Inscriptions include “ST HELENA,” “£10” and “2021” above, with “250g,” “FINE SILVER 999” and “HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II” located below. The portrait was crafted in 1985 by acclaimed British sculptor Raphael Maklouf, founder of the Tower Mint.
Reverse: The reverse depicts a magnificent East Indian Company ship at full sail upon a calm sea. The background is patterned with lines emulating those on a nautical chart. Above the vessel, the inscription “THE EAST INDIA COMPANY LONDON” appears, along with the Company’s “EIC” sword and heart logo.
