Remarkably Detailed Antiqued Design
Obverse: On the obverse, the rotating ox charm is encircled by a textured frame adorned with pellets, with the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II located above. Inscriptions include “1 DOLLAR,” “TUVALU 2021” and “QUEEN ELIZABETH II.” The Queen’s image was created by renowned British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998.
Reverse: The reverse features an array of oxen which are decorated with, and surrounded by, a beautiful pattern of stylized flowers and foliage, with the ox charm at the center. The Perth Mint’s “P” Mint mark is camouflaged within the design.
