Obverse: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is depicted on the obverse. The monarch’s likeness is encircled by the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “NIUE,” “TWO DOLLARS” and “2021,” with “1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER” and the Lucasfilm Ltd. trademark sweeping below. Designed in 1998 by acclaimed British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, this rendition of the Queen is known as the fourth definitive coinage portrait of the monarch.
Reverse: The reverse highlights the simplicity of the design of the Snow Trooper’s helmet, featuring the rounded head piece, with the face and neck covering below. The most distinctive element of the helmet is the built-in polarized snow goggles, which are colorized black, starkly contrasting against the glossy white color of the helmet.
