Exquisite Chestnut Leaf Design
Obverse: The medal’s obverse features a single chestnut leaf along with some of the tree’s fruit. The name of the medal, “CHESTNUT LEAF,” is inscribed in the rim frame, as are the coin’s weight and purity, “1 OZ 999.9 FINE SILVER.”
Reverse: On the reverse is a two-headed eagle, a popular symbol of Germany.
