Closeness Between Germania and Austria
Obverse: Austria and Germania are pictured together on the obverse sitting together. Austria is on the left and she is calmly holding her spear. Germania is on the right and has her sword sheathed at her side. If you look towards the center of the design, Austria has her hand on Germania’s leg and Germania is covering it with her hand.
Reverse: The reverse of this medal shows a highly detailed coat of arms. Since Germania was never a single country, this is what Germania’s coat of arms could have looked like.
