Beautiful Incuse Moon Festival-Panda Design
Obverse: The obverse of the medal shows a remarkable view of China’s epic Great Wall. Inset in the sky above the Great Wall is an astronomy instrument, the Chinese armillary sphere. The “Z” mint mark from the Shenzhen Guobao Mint appears at the lower left of the medal.
Reverse: The reverse of the medal shows a young giant panda sitting in a leafy area. The moon comprises the background field of the medal. The combination of super incuse and high relief surfaces create several “layers” of relief within the design that offer a breathtaking view of the immense Moon.
