Adorable 2021 Panda Imagery
Obverse: The entry facade of the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests, located in Beijing’s Temple of Heaven complex, is depicted on the obverse. The border around the image contains the inscriptions “People’s Republic of China” above in Chinese characters, with the year of issue “2021” below.
Reverse: The reverse depicts a mother panda protectively watching over her cub as it scrambles up a tree. Inscriptions include “3 g Au .999” and the coin’s denomination “50 Yuan.” This image created by Chinese artist Tong Fang is a follow-up to her newborn panda design released in 2019.
Mint State 70 Perfection
This 2021 China 3 g Gold Panda ¥50 Coin was deemed to be in perfect Mint State 70 condition by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). For submission to the grading service within thirty days of release, the coin also qualified for the First Releases designation. The bullion coin is encapsulated in a white core NGC protective holder accompanied by a specially designed certification label featuring a colorful rendition of the Temple of Heaven.
