The 2020 Numis-Tastic Canadian Quarter Set issued by the Royal Canadian Mint features all five of the distinctive coin finishes produced by the Mint in one complete set for the first time ever! The set includes five quarters adorned with Emanuel Hahn’s iconic caribou design, which has graced the circulation quarter since 1937. The set demonstrates the Mint’s Brilliant Uncirculated, Proof, Reverse Proof, Matte and Specimen finishes. Only 15,000 of these special 2020 Numis-Tastic nickel-plated steel quarter sets will be minted.
Classic Wildlife Imagery
Each reverse features the head of a majestic caribou in profile encircled by a beaded border, with the coin’s denomination of “25 CENTS” inscribed between the spokes of the creature’s magnificently detailed antlers. Additional inscriptions include “CANADA” and “2020.”
The obverses depict Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as designed by artist Susanna Blunt, surrounded by a beaded border and framed with the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II” and “D. G. REGINA.”
A Variety of Finishes in Original Mint Packaging
The five coins included in this 2020 Numis-Tastic Canadian Quarter Set are attractively presented in ungraded, condition, housed in the original Mint branded card style package. The coins are clearly labeled with type of finish, and includes bilingual (French and English) descriptions of each finish variety. The card backing is pre-cut to create a standing display of the set, if desired.
