This 2019-S Apollo 11 50th Anniversary proof half dollar set was submitted to the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) for review within thirty days of its official Mint release date, earning the collectible First Strike designation. Featuring superior quality strikes, virtually flawless surfaces, and fantastic eye appeal, each coin in the set was awarded the nearly perfect grade of Proof 69. The coins are encapsulated in individual sonically sealed PCGS protective holders, each accompanied by an Astronauts Memorial Foundation (AMF) certification label. The presence of this label style indicates that a portion of the certification fee was donated to the AMF by PCGS.
