Obverse: A design titled “Soldier’s Charge” is located on the obverse. The scene is focused on the determined face of a soldier as he prepares for battle with a rifle in hand. The image is accompanied by the inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “1918,” and “2018.”
Reverse: The reverse image titled “Poppies in the Wire” features a cluster of poppies tangled in barbed wire. Poppies have been a symbol of remembrance of those lost in wartime since 1921. Inscribed “ONE DOLLAR,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and the Philadelphia Mint mark “P.”
