The Roaring Deer is the final design of the Mongolian Nature series. This gilt silver coin weighs 1/2 Troy oz. and was issued in 2017. Like previous coins of the series, mintage of this one was very limited. The limit was set at 2,500 pieces. It has a unique cut-out design like other Mongolian Nature coins.
Unique roaring deer design
The obverse displays a small Mongolian coat of arms. Since this coin has a cut-out design, it is basically the same from both sides. However, on the obverse the deer is facing the coat of arms.
The reverse is inscribed with the date and the name of the series. The deer is facing these as well.
Certified Mint State 69 with Early Releases
This coin was submitted to the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) within 30 days of its release date, which is why it received the Early Releases designation. It was awarded the grade of Mint State 69 from their 70 point grading scale. This grade is only given to coins that are almost perfect.
