Stunning Sydney Skyline Design
Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley is at the center of the obverse. To the left are the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II” and “1 DOLLAR,” while “COOK ISLANDS” and, again, “1 DOLLAR,” are inscribed on the right. Also included are foil details and a certificate of authenticity.
AMP Tower features prominently in the foreground of the reverse, giving the holder a clear view of the landmark. Two other Sydney landmark are clearly identifiable as well, the Sydney Opera House on the left and Harbor Bridge on the right. Also included are several of the city’s skyscrapers. “SYDNEY” is inscribed on the right next to a map of the Pacific Rim, while “SKYLINE DOLLAR” is inscribed on the left.
