Fantastic Dome Shaped Coin
Obverse: The interior of a baseball glove spans the concave surface on the obverse. The inscriptions “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “2014” are positioned within the palm of the glove. The design was created by California based graphic artist Cassie McFarland.
Reverse: A traditionally stitched baseball is featured on the convex reverse. Inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “ONE DOLLAR” and the Philadelphia Mint mark “P.” The image is the work of Don Everhart, a Medallic Artist at the U.S. Mint from 2004 until 2017.
